My name is Jessica Kelley. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Alabama. I started working in psychiatric hospital settings at age 18 and have loved helping people ever since! I graduated from California Baptist University in 2013. I have worked in several states as I transfer with my enlisted-military husband and our two children.
Most of my counseling experience has been in high-crisis settings with adolescents, young adults, and their families. I have worked with families and individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, psychosis, abuse/neglect, parenting struggles, stress, and relationship conflicts.
I would describe my approach as supportive, empathetic, warm, goal oriented, and client centered. I use Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Solution focused therapy, Motivational interviewing, Christian/Biblical counseling, and life coaching approaches in sessions but my personal style is very laid-back and genuine. I don’t throw fancy academic language around or spout off terminology that most people don’t use, but I will be real; a real person who really cares!
I won’t tell you what to do, but I will give you feedback, suggestions, and perspective to help you make the best decisions for you and your situation. I encourage my clients to be vocal about their needs and what they hope to get out of therapy.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Jessica has helped me tremendously with my relationship issues. She's very personable and I've enjoyed working with her so much.
Jessica Kelley is absolutely amazing! She has taught so many useful tips and tools that I continue to use daily. I highly recommend Jessica Kelley if you get the chance to be with her!!
I was hesitant to do a chat session, but decided to give it a try. I was very happily surprised and in some ways like this better than sitting and actually talking. Typing things makes be better articulate my thoughts and getting a typed response back gives me the opportunity to copy and save advice for later. Jessica seems to really understand the types of situations I'm dealing with and is quick to recommend positive resources, habits, or things to consider. I like that she is able to help me incorporate my faith journey during this major life transition. She does give homework assignments as we are going. I have really enjoyed these and they have always helped me in my self discovery and personal goals.
I’m back again because she really helps me get through so many things I’m struggling woth!
I really love having sessions with Jessica! She has taught me really helpful CBT tools that I use every day. She is a great listener and always has the best advice as well. I am really happy that I have been matched with her as a counselor!
Jessica is the best
I feel heard and understood by Jessica. She can put things into perspective that I was having a hard time even understanding. I feel like she really loves what she does. The thing that really took me back was a message she sent that said “do you have 5 more minutes”. You don’t usually see that in counseling. You pay for your hour and go. She really helps you dig deep. Oh and she gives you homework so after your session you have something to work on, which is awesome. I highly recommend her.
Jessica was so helpful with teaching me how to manage stress and take control of my own thoughts! She was so easy to talk to and so relatable!
Jessica was able to help me so much! She is such an amazing counselor and very easy to talk to.
Jessica could not have been more helpful or enjoyable to work with. She is patient, thoughtful, and so relatable, yet challenging in the best way that I certainly needed! She definitely did not just agree with me or “try to make me feel good,” but she asked tough questions and challenged me to dig deeply and make strides in the direction I wanted to go in. I am thankful for her and for the weeks I benefited from her wisdom and experience. I will not hesitate to seek out her services again in the future.
Jessica is a wonderful human being.
