About me

I hold a Florida and Colorado licenses as a mental health counselor. I've worked with families, couples, and individuals for more than six years, and I've worked with others in career counseling for more than eleven years. I spent 12 years as a career counselor in the U.S. Army before switching to the role of a Mental Health Counselor. I work with clients who have a variety of issues, such as trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, marital problems, parenting issues, employment difficulties, and a variety of other mental health problems. My therapy approach is kind, interesting, and motivating. I think everyone should be treated with decency, compassion, and respect. Labels should not be stigmatized, in my opinion. I definitely push my clients to discover who they are and what their aspirations are. My method incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution-focused CBT, and psychodynamic CBT (DBT). I'll adjust our conversation and treatment strategy to fit your particular requirements. I'm happy to see that you've started along the path to living a more fruitful and happy life. I'm prepared to start right away if you're prepared to start. I think it's vital to take care of yourself, spend time with your family, and strike a healthy balance between work and home. It's time to improve both your own and your mental wellness.
