About me
Therapy does actually work! Many people reading this will probably be asking themselves about the truth of that statement. I am a therapist licensed as a clinical social worker in PA, and I seriously enjoy partnering with people for change. I have worked in mental health for about 20 years, within the U.S. as well as abroad. My counseling style is interactive and authentic. I believe in treating others with respect, compassion, and truth. I recognize that labels do not always help. I appreciate that each individual is made up of complex parts that work together, including mind, body, soul, and spirit. My approach to therapy utilizes combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, rational emotive, and structural family therapies. You will find that our dialog and treatment plan are tailored to meet your unique needs and specific goals.
It takes courage to step out of the familiar toward the changes you want to see. As you consider taking those steps now--the ones leading to greater wellness and a fulfilling life--I am eager to support you.
I look forward to working with you.

Jessica has been a good match for me. She challenged my thinking with insightful questions, helped me to grow with resources, supported me in making decisions that were seemed risky at first but turned out to be extremely helpful. Her guidance is gentle and kind, reflective of the loving person she is.
I had requested a counselor who would incorporate Christian faith into our sessions. Jessica has been very respectful of my beliefs and offered just the right mix of faith and counseling for me. With Jessica's help, I found peace with myself and acceptance of all the things around my life.

Jessica has really been able to get me to a place mentally that I have not been able to get to with any other counsellor /therapist. I am SO grateful I found her and I am so excited for the progress I have made with her so far.
