Jillian Mosley, LPC
About me
Hello! My name is Jillian Mosley. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Alabama. I have an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. When I decided to return to college to obtain my masters degree, I knew that I wanted to do something to help others. I obtained my Masters in Community Counseling from the University of South Alabama in 2010.
I now have over 12 years of experience working with adolescents, adults and families. I have worked in various settings such as outpatient children services, adult inpatient services, correctional mental health, outpatient counseling and addictions. My focus has been working with individuals dealing with challenges due to ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Mood disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Family/Marriage conflicts, Substance Abuse, Psychosis, Grief, Life changes, Personality Disorders, Stress Management, and Anger Management.
My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral, Client Centered, and Solution Focused. I believe that each individual is the best narrator of their life and I wish to be apart of that journey for each individual to live their best life. I will work along with you to identify goals that we can focus on in our counseling sessions.
I am happy that you have taken the initiative to seek help to work towards change and a happier life. I look forward to working with you!
