About me

I am a UK-based Counselling Psychologist, Existential Psychotherapist, and Clinical Supervisor, with over 10 years of professional experience. I am accredited by the UKCP and am also a registered member of the BACP (MBACP).

My theoretical background is strongly rooted in philosophy, which led me to pursue a career in existential psychotherapy. I work with clients’ lived experiences, including their values, personal and family history, relationships, connection to the world, and questions of identity, meaning, and purpose.

My approach supports insight and reflection, facilitating change where this feels needed. Existential therapy offers space to engage with emotions, explore relationships, and reflect on how you are living your life. I have worked with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, bereavement, identity crises, gender dysphoria, relationship difficulties, and many of the existential challenges we encounter across the lifespan.

Alongside my clinical work, I also provide clinical supervision to psychotherapists, counsellors, and other mental health practitioners.

I offer a warm, respectful, and honest approach to therapy. My work is dialogical in nature — rather than focusing on solutions alone, we seek understanding and truth. The therapeutic relationship is built on mutual trust and provides a safe, confidential space in which we can explore your experiences together.

I aim to create an open and supportive environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgement. It takes courage to seek a more meaningful and fulfilling life and to take the first steps towards change. I am here to support and empower you on that journey.

Please feel free to get in touch with any questions — no question is too small. Curiosity is often the first step towards discovering something new.

Warmly,
Jo

Fantastic for one session to reaffirm my own thoughts on a very tricky situation and also made me reflect on myself and my own needs.
