Joanna Perez, LMHC
About me
I help clients navigate trauma, anxiety, and the patterns that feel hard to break. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence‑based practices like CBT, DBT‑informed skills, MI, and trauma‑responsive care. I work with adults and young adults who want to feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their lives.
Whether you’re managing panic, healing from past experiences, rebuilding self‑trust, or moving through a major life transition, therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and make meaningful change at your own pace. I bring experience from outpatient, residential, community‑based, and correctional settings, and I’m committed to culturally responsive, inclusive care for diverse identities and backgrounds.
You don’t have to navigate everything alone. Together, we’ll build practical tools, deepen self‑understanding, and create a path forward that feels steady and sustainable.
