Joanne Bruce
About me
I offer a warm, empowering space where adults and young people can feel truly seen, supported, and inspired to overcome life's challenges.
As a compassionate and experienced therapist, i bring both professional skills and real life- understanding to my work. I'm a single mother of three, and my journey has taken me across the world living and working in America, Switzerland, England and Egypt. My background in Education , sport and counselling has shaped a deep belief that people can grow through adversity and rediscover purpose no matter where life takes them.
In my teens, i represented my country in athletics and later face the loss of that identity due to injury - an experience that taught me resilience and the power of rebuilding. I've rowed at national level, cycled through the Alpes, and learned first-hand that strength comes from embracing both the highs and lows of life. Now at 51, i am living my purpose -combining my passion for helping others with my love of movement and growth.
Clients describe my approach as warm, grounded and deeply human. I bring empathy, humour, and insight to every session, helping people reconnect with themselves and move forward with confidence.
