About me
Hello I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with over 18 years of experience working with children, families, adolescents and adults. I have worked with clients from as young as two years old to grandparents providing care for their grandchildren. I have provided counseling to clients with a wide range of presenting issues - family conflict, depression, anxiety, family of origin issues, disruptive behavior, parenting, self esteem issues, lack of motivation, divorce, peer issues, school motivation and more. I am also certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also work with families who are separating and/or divorcing to assist them make the process as harmless as possible for all involved.
My style is warm and open, validating your experiences and helping you to find a solution that works within the context of your life, your family and your personal values. I combine elements of cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, humanistic and narrative counseling. I will hear you and design an approach and plan that works to meet your needs.
