About me

I am a licensed clinical therapist (LCSW) with 5 years of working with clients ready to make a change in themselves for the life they want to be living. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns some of which includes depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and life changes. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma and abuse find a path of internal freedom. My initial goal in working with new clients is to ensure there is a good therapeutic fit prior to moving forward to meet my client's goals. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life today and continue to move forward! Healing comes at your own pace, and with that I will always encourage supplemental resources to aid in your journey of healing. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs and will review these goals periodically with you to make sure we are on track. It takes courage at times to seek help to discover a more fulfilling and happier life. You bring your valuable experiences, beliefs, emotions, and choices to the table. I aim to earn your trust and provide a space we can explore what brings you healing toward inner peace and joy. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to empower you and work alongside you to accomplish your goals.

I look forward to meeting you!

*I do not work on weekends or weeknights

Jocelyn is awesome! She listens and makes you think about things. While I feel like she pushes me to grow, she doesn't pressure me into it. She's the best therapist I've ever talked to and I've made a lot of progress in the year I've spent with her. I feel like past therapists just let you vent and circle a topic over and over and never resolve it. Jocelyn nudges you along to a resolution in a very genuine way.

It has been fantastic working with Jocelyn. She is gracious, kind, and compassionate. She listens well and validated my feelings. I appreciated her support. I love the better health platform. It allowed me to obtain excellent support, help in my rural town, all from home and my phone. I love that I can also select someone with spiritual beliefs and a faith-based background as that is very important to me in my health and coping in life. I love that I received helpful tools and check-ins on a regular basis or more often if I desired. I highly recommend Jocelyn.

When I tell you that Jocelyn has been a miracle in my life, I really mean it. I've had my struggles with finding the right therapist, and I've found "the one" with Jocelyn. She really listens to me, finds ways to best support me and my mental health, is so encouraging, and patient. There's so much clarity when I get to have my weekly chat with her. I am so lucky to have her by my side, especially during the hard parts of life.

Jocelyn is a compassionate and caring therapist who truly has been a blessing in my life. She has listened to me and provided me with tools and resources such as books (pdf), quizzes, journaling and shows. She is knowledgeable in faith and that is the foundation of her practice which means so much to me. I highly recommend Jocelyn!
