Hello and I’m so glad you are seeking support with your life. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in Michigan, a Board Certified Diplomat and Certified Addictions Counselor, I have been in human service for over 20 years. I have worked with children age 3 to seniors over 100 years old. I've worked with individuals with a history of abuse/neglect, addiction, anxiety, chronic illness, depression, domestic violence, grief and loss and those spiritually seeking. My therapeutic expertise includes trauma informed care, cognitive behavioral and solution focused interventions, and motivational interviewing. All interventions stem from a person-centered holistic approach. My professional experience ranges from case management in community mental health, delinquency and youth residential facilities, Home Health Care and Hospice, starting numerous outpatient substance abuse programs, nonprofit executive leadership, business consulting and life/spiritual coaching.
I believe in the celebration and acceptance of every person. We examine all aspects of a person’s life and help find what intersects. The overarching goal is balanced living and having tools at our disposal in order to become skillful at creating self-defined balance for ourselves whenever we face life challenges that take us off center. I use all that I have learned to help those who choose to receive it.
Personally, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and adventure experiences like zip lining and skydiving and most importantly helping others find mental, physical and spiritual health. It would be an honor to assist you along your life’s journey.
I wish you peace and fulfillment!

She’s the best counselor I’ve ever had. She listens well and remembers things you tell her. She really cares about your wellbeing
Jodi is a kind, flexible, authentic individual who is extremely helpful and professional, helping me navigating through my anxiety. It takes some time to find someone you fit with, and we clicked right away. This was integral to take steps forward quickly, and I look forward to our sessions.
Jodi clearly has plenty of experience counseling other people with similar concerns as me and I feel understood when I talk about a variety of areas in my life. I feel like I have space to talk freely but also receive deeper insight, suggestions and tools to move forward in my life with less anxiety.
Jodi is so nice and thoughtful. She listens very well and has great suggestions. If you have Jodi for a therapist you are very lucky! I highly recommend her.
Jodi Luster is great! This is my first time ever doing anything like this and from day 1 she has made me feel comfortable and safe. Talking with her is like sitting in your living room with a close friend sharing. She helps me realize things about my self in which I never thought of. I can tell she really loves what she does and cares for the people she works with. I truly appreciate her.
