About Me

Are the challenges of everyday life becoming too much to handle? Are you having problems with relationships, intimacy, physical illness or injury, or emotional health? When these struggles become overwhelming, you do not have to go it alone! My name is John David Joslin, LCSW. I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker in Mississippi and Arkansas. With caring and compassion I will listen to your story, help guide you in better understanding your problems, and help you discover solutions. I am a social worker and health educator with over 32 years of experience helping clients to solve problems, find peace of mind and make a fresh start in life. Let me help you with your healing journey. The time to start is now!

I provide online counseling for adults who are basically mentally healthy and who need guidance in handling the challenges of everyday life. Counseling involves professional guidance in resolving conflicts and emotional problems by helping people make healthy changes in ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving.  This is accomplished by using cognitive behavioral techniques and education.  I use problem-solving and mental health recovery models.

I have made a long journey to find my truth. I am still on that journey. I want to help you on your journey to find your truth.

David is very patient and pleasant to talk with. He listens to your main concerns and helps guide you to finding answers without it feeling like you are being pushed or forced. He is also very relatable, with life experiences similar to mine that he is not afraid to share.

I think David is great. He always responds to my messages in a timely manner. I just began this process, and I already feel better. I can tell he cares about my well being, and he really wants to make a difference.

Thanks David, for being open and sharing your story as a glimpse to help me unravel my own story. The one session I know has put me in a better mood than I have been in and helped me to recognize what is my own steps I need to take. You are amazing - please don't change.
