I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in California. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater with an undergrad in Social Work and Human Services and attained my Masters in Social Work- mental health focused with a sub-concentration working with military families from the University of Southern California. I have been working within treatment centers as an individual and family therapist for the past five years after gaining my early experience serving homeless veterans within a non-profit organization. I have extensive experience working with adults experiencing persistent and severe mental health disorders and substance use disorders. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, paranoia, relationship issues, couples issues, communication issues, trauma, OCD, grief and loss, substance use, and personality disorders. I have also helped many clients who have experienced physical, emotional, verbal and sexual abuse.
During my years of practice I have identified the benefits of focusing on client's self-esteem in order to improve within themselves, specifically focusing on "the here and now". I am highly trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which I have utilized within individual, group, and family therapy sessions as well as solution focused therapy and motivational therapy. My therapy style is warm and non judgmental as I want all of my clients to feel they are in a safe environment when working with me. I believe in treating everyone as an individual and meeting my clients where they are mentally and emotionally during sessions. I also work with my clients in identifying their individual goals and completing their treatment plan in order to meet their unique and specific needs.
In my work I have always communicated to my clients that it takes a lot of courage to seek support in wanting to make a major life change. I am here to work with you if you are ready to take those steps towards change.
I look forward to working with you and being able to support and empower you!

Jordan was erroneously matched with me even though she wasn’t accepting new patients. This is after I described my current situation. How awkward! I would recommend that she and other counselors please update their settings. It is very disappointing, especially when people in need are seeking emotional support for mental health issues. It also shows a lack of professionalism to have automated responses. Please be very cautious. Patients expect confidentiality and true connection!
