About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in California. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater with an undergrad in Social Work and Human Services and attained my Masters in Social Work- mental health focused with a sub-concentration working with military families from the University of Southern California. I have been working within treatment centers as an individual and family therapist for the past 5+ years after gaining my early experience serving homeless veterans within a non-profit organization. I have extensive experience working with adults experiencing persistent and severe mental health disorders and substance use disorders. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, paranoia, relationship issues, couples issues, communication issues, trauma, OCD, grief and loss, substance use, and personality disorders. I have also helped many clients who have experienced physical, emotional, verbal and sexual abuse.

During my years of practice I have identified the benefits of focusing on client's self-esteem in order to improve within themselves, specifically focusing on "the here and now". I am highly trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which I have utilized within individual, group, and family therapy sessions as well as solution focused therapy and motivational therapy. My therapy style is warm and non judgmental as I want all of my clients to feel they are in a safe environment when working with me. I believe in treating everyone as an individual and meeting my clients where they are mentally and emotionally during sessions. I also work with my clients in identifying their individual goals and completing their treatment plan in order to meet their unique and specific needs.

In my work I have always communicated to my clients that it takes a lot of courage to seek support in wanting to make a major life change. I am here to work with you if you are ready to take those steps towards change.

I look forward to working with you and being able to support and empower you!

I honestly don't believe I would have been able to see the light at the end of the tunnel if not for our sessions. She's been spot on with the things I was feeling and why I felt them and also what was needed to untwist these feelings. I look forward to every session.

Very easy to be open with her. She helped me pinpoint things that I didn't even realize were an issue.

Jordan was very personable for my first session which is a huge plus for me. She got to some core issues which I wasn’t prepared for but she made it easy to talk about.
