Mr. Abreu has helped me immensely. I have learned many techniques on how to better cope and process hostile environments and people. His techniques have helped and continue to help me with my anxiety and depression. To be honest I can be quite hard headed and hot headed and Mr. Abreu creates a safe space that also does not cater to my sometimes bs. He’s firm, but kind and caring and creates an atmosphere where I have to look deeply within myself. Inevitably that inward looking (while sometimes painful) is what is helping me to grow and heal my traumas. Jorge is very knowledgeable about a variety of topics. He makes me very comfortable. I feel confident sharing EVERYTHING with him. He expresses his Joy when I've had a breakthrough. He gives me advice and is patient with me when I have a set back. So far, Jorge is everything I've ever wanted in a counselor.
