Joe is an amazing counselor! I had many many great sessions with him! He is a great listener, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Taught me a lot of techniques how to deal with emotional distress, and gave me many great perspectives to approach my problems when I was stuck in my own head and ideas.
Excellent listener and quick rapport builder with a broad range of approaches and methods. Has been so helpful to me.
Joseph is such a kind hearted person who has helped me through my past and present issues. He has helped me learn strategies to calm the situation, which has helped with my stress and anxiety.
100% would recommend Joseph if you have experienced past trauma or workplace stress.
Joe is a very professional and experienced councillor. He has remarkable insight and wisdom and tremendous empathy. I highly recommend him.
I loved working with Joe. From the first session I felt like he totally understood where my issues were coming from and just talking about them made me realize how to fix them. Giving lots of food for thought helped a lot too. I can only recommend working with him.
Joe is an amazing therapist. He is very easy to talk to and helps me navigate traumatic and negative experiences in a safe and accepting environment. He is always positive and has a world of experience. I would especially recommend him to members of the LGBTQI+ community.
I genuinely cannot stress enough how great Joe has been for me over the past few months of therapy. He is such a lovely guy who is incredibly caring, knowledgable and friendly. He has completely transformed my mindset on many of my issues and he has made me realise the power that I have as an individual to make positive changes in my own life by simply altering how I think about people and events.
When I first came to therapy I was a bit hesitant and it wasn't easy for me to open up about my personal life, but after the first two sessions with Joe he had already made me feel comfortable and, most importantly, I could tell that he really cared. I guarantee that if you start therapy with Joe you will be shocked by how much information (even the smallest details) that he can remember from the things you tell him. From my friends names, to my friends of friends names, to my favourite pizza and the name of my brothers and sisters - Joe could remember it all, just after a couple of conversations. This really highlighted to me just how much Joe genuinely cares about his patients as individuals. As a result it wasn't long before I started to foster a friendly relationship with Joe, and at this point (at the end of my therapeutic journey) I would definitely describe Joe as just that - a friend.
So, if you want a therapist who is incredibly friendly, approachable and caring, Joe is the man for you. Also, I genuinely don't think I have ever met a person who is so knowledgable in so many different fields - honestly, Joe is like a walking fact machine and at times it felt like I was being taught by a lecturer in a class! Joe has so much practical experience in social work and therapy that he could give me great advice and guidance even on some of the 'atypical' and more complex aspects of my life, and would always have resources and documents handy to send me if I asked for some.
I truly cannot recommend Joe enough (and I really mean that), and I wish that therapy was free just so I could have a friendly chat with Joe each week. I will always remember our Friday pizza sessions very fondly. Thank you so much for everything Joe.
Joe is a caring conscientious person who is a good listener. He provides support when needed and is there to help you work through situations or reflect on life's situations. I am glad to know Joe and appreciate his kind responses and sincere comments to my journal entries.
Jo is being very helpful
Joe is really helping me on my journey - he’s very balanced and neutral and I am in control, he doesn’t force his ideas or suggestions onto me - he listens and guides my own thoughts by asking the right questions at the right time. I thoroughly recommend him, he’s has a great talent for compassion and care, whilst being firm enough to ensure I keep moving forward on my journey
I was unsure about online therapy but took a chance and I'm so glad I did! Joseph Beck in particular has been a huge support! I feel like my mind works in mysterious ways and he just seems to *get* that. He always pinpoints the issues I'm not sure about and it is so helpful to have someone understanding to talk to, who can help clear the fog so I can finally start seeing clearly again. Thank you, Joseph!
I've been with Joe for a few months now and I already feel like a new and evolved person! He takes the time to listen to how you are feeling, give you ways to deal with how you are feeling and sometimes tell you what you need to hear when you need it. I've had counselling before but he is the best therapist I've seen.
I felt very heard and understood by Joe, and he made active efforts to tailor his counselling approach to fit my needs better. His expertise is evident in how resourceful he is. And on top of that, he is a wonderfully kind individual who genuinely cheered me on, but also called me out on things when needed and kept me in check. I'd greatly recommend him to anyone thinking of trying counselling.
He is understanding and always answers me quickly. He asks the right amount of questions so you don't get overwhelmed and he gives you lots of time to think and answer. He is so kind and caring and you really feel you are making progress with his advice and techniques.
Joe's very good. He's well-coordinated, fairly concise (these situations are complicated), and has an appropriate way of handling my issues. He's a different type of therapist from what I've had in the past, so I was very interested in working with him; he would be able to help me look at things differently.
I'm currently undergoing the more challenging aspects of therapy, so it's hard to say how I'll feel later. If I felt that he was insincere and didn't legitimately want me to get better, I know I wouldn't be this far along.
If things continue the way they are, I would say that Joe is an extraordinarily good choice for someone who is familiar with therapy, has probably seen multiple therapists, and needs a more direct approach. He listens, but sessions tend to move straight to the mechanics of getting better.
Joseph Beck has exceeded my expectations for what and how virtual therapy would be.
It's clear that Joe is a very experienced therapist, who is a great listener, and offers great advice and insight.
I feel like while I'm not yet feeling better, I am being better and it's all because of Joe.
Absolute pleasure to work with, he's helping me with my journey and I don't think anyone would be able to help like he has. I've had therapists before, but he is one that I feel very comfortable talking with and I look forward to our weekly sessions!
It’s a true blessing that I’ve had Joe as a counsellor. He always goes out of his way to find out what topics I’d like to discuss that day. If he’s not as versed in them, he will do the research to find out ways to help me. He helps me set goals for myself. He’s been helping me stay on top of nutrition and other areas of my life to improve my “whole person”. I really look forward to our sessions every week.
In the few sessions I've had with Joe, my time has already been worth it. He helps me to pinpoint areas of my life that I would like to improve upon and gives me the right tools to do the work! I'm so happy with the progress that's already been made and look forward to future sessions with Joe.
Joe is highly empathetic and a great listener. He creates a calm space for me to air my concerns and comes up with practical ideas for addressing them.
I have been looking for a counselor for a long time. I’ve needed one and I’m so happy with the match I got! Joseph is amazing! He listens, he calls me out on things, and he challenges me. I am so grateful to have him.
Loving our sessions!!!
In the short time that I have been working with Joe, I already feel like he has taken the time to really listen to me and understand what is important to me, & through this feel like we are making great progress together. He takes time to think of books, worksheets, audios and other great tools to listen and work on in your own time. He has a wonderful, calming energy, always makes me feel understood & totally embraces and supports my spirituality which is super important to me. Cant recommend him enough! Thank you Joe!
Immediately felt at ease with Joe from the first session. His ability to help you see some of your issues from a different angle really helps with getting things in perspective again and he really goes the extra mile!
