Joshua Elledge, LPC
About me
Hello! My name is Joshua and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and retired United States Marine. I have a passion for, and experience working with, people facing anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship issues, trauma, and severe and persistent mental illness to name only a few. A person's decision to seek therapy is an act of courage that I both respect and view highly!
My style of therapy is client-centered, collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I view you as the expert in your own life and maintain a firm belief that you, regardless of the challenges and circumstances you may be facing, are capable of lasting and meaningful change! My therapeutic approach encompasses cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy(ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), spirituality, and internal family systems (IFS).
It undoubtedly takes much courage to seek therapeutic support during life's most challenging moments, but it is in these moments and when those challenges are faced, that the change you seek can be realized!
I look forward to working with you!
