Joshua Tidwell, LPC
About me
Hello, I'm Joshua Tidwell, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) serving children (ages 10+), adolescents, and adults. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, burnout, stress, emotional regulation challenges, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.
My professional experience includes private practice counseling, Trauma Systems Therapy, and intensive behavioral health settings, where I have worked with individuals and families facing complex emotional and behavioral challenges. I have extensive experience supporting children and teens struggling with trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, and family conflict, as well as adults dealing with chronic stress, burnout, and the effects of difficult life experiences.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should provide both a safe space to be heard and effective tools that help create meaningful change in daily life. Together, we'll work to better understand your challenges, build on your strengths, and develop strategies that support your goals and wellbeing.
Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, or your teenager, I strive to create a compassionate, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where growth and healing can take place.
