Hello, my name is Judson Haynes and I look forward to the prospect of working with you. I practice in Washington State and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP).
I began counseling in 2008 and have worked in a variety of settings that include private practice, treatment centers for addiction and co-occurring disorders, and at a community mental health center as a crisis counselor.
I have experience working with clients of all ages, sexual orientation, and gender on many issues. I have also worked with families and loved ones who are trying to navigate through the addiction of a loved one. My primary areas of expertise are anxiety and depressive disorders, addiction, grief and loss, and relationship issues. I believe in and practice an empathic, person-centered, trauma-informed, and strength-based approach when counseling. I rely on a variety of evidence-based practices that best meet the need of the individual. This includes but not limited to motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and incorporating mindfulness techniques.
My main goal in therapy is providing a non-judgmental and accepting setting where you are heard and understood. If you have any questions regarding my approach or whether I am a good match, please do not hesitate to ask.
With regard to online therapy, it is important to me that I respond as quickly as able to clients. Should you prefer using the messenger option (similar to email) I may not be able to respond immediately as I have scheduled sessions throughout the day. If you have questions regarding scheduling a specific time and utilizing one of the following features, live chat, phone call, or video call, please ask.

Judson is very friendly, and he can help you get out of your problems if you listen to him. Very intelligent and knows what he is doing. He is easy to talk to and listens very well. I am for sure having a much better life after talking to him for few weeks.
I have been working with Judson for a few weeks now and our sessions and messaging have been EXTREMELY helpful at reducing my anxiety. I have been dealing with some high stress issues both at work and at home. Initially I sought help because I was experiencing reoccurring triggers of relapse, but I have been able to work through to the deeper issues and start to untangle the stresses in order to manage daily life. I HIGHLY recommend Judson!
I'm very thankful for Judson. I have been working with him for a short time but he has helped me develop tools to start to deal with the anxiety and depression that I've been going through for a long time. He's been very respectful of me and my background and the problems that I have. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to a close friend or family member.
I'm glad I decided to do this. Judson helped me understand how my mind worked better and helped me break through some bad loops I was stuck in. 10/10 recommend him if you're looking for improvement in your life.
