Juhi Patel, LCSW
About me
I’m Juhi, a licensed clinical social worker. I have obtained a masters degree in social work from New York University and did my undergraduate work at Montclair State University. Patients who come to me for the first time often say “I should have come to therapy a long time ago.” I believe that psychotherapy can be a difficult process for a lot of people. This is why I provide a safe, calm, and judgement free atmosphere for patients from the moment they enter my office.
By utilizing a strength based approach and cognitive behavioral techniques (CBT) I am able to assist patients in reaching their fullest potential. Whether you are struggling with self-esteem, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, or simply need to learn coping skills to manage real life stressors, I help you manage it. I work with patients who are 15 years or older and also have experience working in a partial hospitalization program where I conducted group psychotherapy sessions. My technique is versatile and I am able to make therapy sessions exactly the way the patient expects.

She is very competent. She is available 24 hours. Even if she can't respond, I can communicate with her. She listens without letting me lose focus and offers potential solutions without forcing any singular one. Overall, I feel validated and secure in communication with her. Give her a raise.
