I have had experience in crisis intervention and trauma focused therapy and veteran’s issues. I have worked with Adults and Adolescents as well as couples and first responders. I am currently serving the prison population doing contract work with releasees from federal prison into the halfway house setting. Ms. Julia Brown has brought out more in me, even things that I didn’t realize were in there, “hiding”. More so than any therapy session I’ve ever sat in on. Her knowledge and expertise are combined with her immense about of compassion and “spot on” advice, which makes for a session that is informative and leaves you feeling “ready to take on the world.”
HIGHLY recommend Julia Brown. I’m so grateful for a therapist that talks to me like I’m a human-being and doesn’t just “tell me what to do”, but has the ability to guide me to seeing things in myself, allowing me to learn to appreciate who I am, while healing the parts I don’t understand.
So grateful for her, and I know anyone that decides to speak with her, will too!
