I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with National University and my Master’s degree in Psychology with Southern California University. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with four years of experience providing direct mental health therapy. I have worked with individuals ages three to adults with a variety of presenting issues, including mood disorders, anger management, parental and family conflicts, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, as well as adjustment issues and phases of life issues. I am very conscious of cultural factors and I am sensitive and respectful of people’s values.
I believe counseling offers healing, growth and clarification for client’s as they courageously decide to work with me in a safe, trusting warm and confidential environment. My therapeutic approach is mainly cognitive and behavioral (CBT) and Client/Centered Therapy but use other therapeutic approaches as needed. I strive to meet you where you are at, then we decide the style that fits your needs, as we are going to be working together to help you meet your goals. I believe in people’s inner strengths and capacity to succeed and grow even during difficult times.
My purpose is to help you gain or regain the level of functioning that you desire. I value the courage it takes to make this first step and I look forward to working with you!

Juline has truly changed my life. She has a beautiful way of listening attentively while patiently pointing you in the direction of discovering solutions. She’s fantastic at encouragement while humbly and vehemently giving her patients the credit for their own growth rather than take any for herself. As someone who’s life she is and continues to simplify thru crisis and overwhelming mundanity alike - I can personally attest that Juline has not only proven her value as a therapist, but has also shown a level of transparent honestly that is remarkably unparalleled. Simply put: She cares.
Juline is super amazing!! She doesn't simply allow me to just speak endlessly and vent about what's going on. She provides me with alternative perspectives, challenges my viewpoints and asks all the right questions. I feel very supported by her. I know that if I reached out that I would hear back in no time. Whenever I need to let go of something, I send it over and we make sure to go over it during session. She also reaches out to me even when I haven't reached out to her!!! It's a different kind of help and is exactly what I need right now.
Amazing match up
Juline is fantastic. This is just the beginning of my therapy journey and she understands me greatly. I look forward to chatting with her more each week!
Juline has been incredible. Feels like the loving aunt that I can tell everything to and that gives me incredibly on-point, smart advice. She's extremely empathetic and very responsive.
Juline Hobson is very attentive and makes you feel heard and understood. Shes very quick with responding to your messages and always has good advice. Makes you feel trusted in her expertise.
In three sessions, I’ve learned to trust and be comfortable with Juline. She listens and is very relatable. I look forward to my sessions with her.
Juline listens carefully, challenges, offers different perspective to help you grow. Very good with establishing goals and personalizing the experience. She makes you feel like she's really doing her best instead of clocking in and clocking out. She's there FOR YOU and I truly believe that.
I gave up on therapy because i had a bad experience with a previous therapist but Juline is very positive and helps me sort my thoughts and helps me stay healthy mentally
