I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with National University and my Master’s degree in Psychology with California Southern University. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with six years of experience providing direct mental health therapy. I have worked with individuals ages three to adults with a variety of presenting issues, including mood disorders, anger management, parental and family conflicts, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, as well as adjustment issues and phases of life issues. I am very conscious of cultural factors and I am sensitive and respectful of people’s values.
I believe counseling offers healing, growth and clarification for individuals as they courageously decide to work with me in a safe, trusting warm and confidential environment. My therapeutic approach is mainly cognitive and behavioral (CBT) and Client/Centered Therapy but use other therapeutic approaches as needed. I strive to meet you where you are at, then we decide the style that fits your needs, as we are going to be working together to help you meet your goals. I believe in people’s inner strengths and capacity to succeed and grow even during difficult times.
My purpose is to help you gain or regain the level of functioning that you desire. I value the courage it takes to make this first step and I look forward to working with you!

I’ve never tried therapy before but it truly was a perfect match getting paired with Juline. It’s only been 4 months and I feel like she’s helped me tremendously. She has a great attitude and honestly helped me plant a lot of positivity in myself that has turned me into a much happier person. Thank you so much Juline!!!

I didn't want to go to therapy due to myself thinking I don't need it, it's for the weak. But when I went ahead and ask myself I need therapy, better help set me up with Juline and so far it's been going great. I'm a talker, and she hears me out and listens to every details I have problems with. I still need work on focusing in myself more and glad she is helping me on helping me accomplish it.

Last year I was in such a bad place. I think the lowest point in my life. Juline helped me so much through this time. I have been in therapy before and I can say this was the best help I have had. Her compassion and empathy is unmatched. Her caring personality and positivity really shines through. She was able to help me with tools that matched and worked for me. I developed strong coping skills through her advice and teachings. I was able to grow up emotionally, and be in more control of my emotions. She ALWAYS responded very quickly. It was so nice to know there was someone in my corner. I feel like because of her I made it through such a devastated place and got back to a better me. Thank you Juline, I am forever grateful.
