About me

Greetings !
I have been a licensed clinical social worker in CT for 25 years. I find that the people that arrive for help are courageous and determined even in their uncertainty and despair. By helping others identify their strengths and improve self care practices, clients are able to grow and overcome challenges, symptoms, and even, tragedy. Compassion and respect are paramount because the human condition -- aka life-- is messy.
My work in various community programs has included work with children and families, helping adults with anxiety, depression, trauma and grief, as well as substance abuse issues. In addition, I am especially fond of work with the LGBTQ+ population, aging elders, and individuals concerned with spiritual and personal growth.
Because the work you are about to begin is so very important, it is critical that you feel a goodness of fit with your therapist, so that you are comfortable talking about all the hard things. I have always felt privileged to take part in my clients journey toward better health and wellness.
