About Me
Hi! My name is June. As you can see, I’m an older person. Some of you may prefer a younger therapist believing that they may identify with you and that could be what you need. I’d like you to consider using me as your therapist because I am older. I have had many of the feelings you are experiencing myself. I’ve had some tough times and poor self esteem and worked through life shifts. I am able to teach some things that are only learned with age. I’ve practiced my skills for nearly 20 years. I went back to school late in life because I overcame struggles and wanted to help others do the same. I’ve seen a lot so I’m less judgmental. It’s normal to feel uncomfortable when first starting therapy. I may challenge you but will do so safely. I love therapy, listening to others and sharing what I can.
The techniques I use are varied. My degree is LPC which means licensed clinical therapist. I’m semi-retired. I primarily worked with children and their families. However, because I am from Montana, and the population is small, the age of my clients varied greatly. My first internship was with the elderly which really enjoyed and children are so fun to be with. You may find me the “salt of the earth” and hopefully authentic.

I just started seeing June and so far she has been great!
Very comforting and easy to talk to.
June is simply amazing. She listened very well and gave me a different perspective. She is fair, sympathetic and understanding and I always felt better after our sessions.
June has been a pillar to my mental health recovery and in the short time that we have been working together, she has taught me numerous tools to take a mental inventory and reflect on my emotions. I cannot speak higher of her empathy and skill!
