Justina Janda, LCMHC
About me
Welcome! I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor working with clients from a holistic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental perspective. I have a certification in Perinatal Mental Health (supporting mental health during pregnancy and postpartum) and a focus on spiritually integrated psychotherapy (integrating the client's unique spiritual perspectives into therapy, if applicable). I also incorporate mindfulness practices to help increase awareness of emotions, body sensations, thoughts, and behavior patterns.
While I have specialized training in these areas, I also have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life purpose issues, major life transitions, relationship issues, existential crisis, and self-esteem issues.
Healing and growth happen more naturally when you feel truly seen and heard. Each individual is unique, and therapy is tailored to support your specific mental, emotional, and/or spiritual needs.
When I’m not in session, you can often find me playing with my toddler, gardening, or exploring new ideas about the intersection of psychology and spirituality. These passions keep me grounded and continually curious about the many ways we can grow and heal.

I haven’t gone to therapy in a long time and was nervous about getting into it. I really enjoyed BetterHelp as a way to start my journey, and I am extremely lucky to have been paired with Justina. I am still getting used to talking about things and going to therapy in general, but Justina has been such a wonderful person to talk to and listen to as well! I feel heard and she provides amazing tools that I am able to use and reflect with!

As a therapist who was seeking therapy, I can honestly say that Justina is a fantastic therapist in all areas. She is compassionate, respectful, prompt, knowledgeable, and a wonderful job of not making assumptions or judgements. She always seems to have the underlying goal of my therapy in mind, even when life throws a curve ball.

Unlike any therapist I’ve had before, knows the questions to ask and makes me feel like I can say whatever. I don’t feel like I can lead her at all or that she will hyper focus on stuff that doesn’t matter as much. I feel like I’m learning and retaining the right ways to communicate just by her having a conversation with me. I also feel like she lets me learn to be more accountable and honest without pressing me. Would definitely recommend her. It’s strange I’ve seen her on other therapy platforms but chose other therapists for some reason. Glad I found myself here.

Justina is kind and empathetic. She listens in a non judgment approach with warmth. After each session I feel heard and ready to try a new strategy we discussed.
