However, with insight into past relationships and experiences, many people can make progress immediately towards overcoming these difficulties and becoming more effective in their work and relationships. Whether it is your first time in therapy, or you are giving it another try, it can be an uneasy experience sharing with a stranger. Your first session with me will be different from future visits. The initial visit is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and to gauge your comfort level in working with me. Future visits will be focused on helping you to develop goals and gaining the insight and tools to accomplish them. Sessions are either 30 or 45 minutes long and occur at a frequency that meets your needs.
