The most important message I want to send to clients is: I am here to understand your world view. I am trained as a Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT) which is designed to help you achieve balance between acceptance and change. DBT has tons of skills within the curriculum and I'd be happy to teach you any and all of them. I promise to be compassionate, direct, empathetic, non-judgmental, validating, and a little bit irreverent at times.
