About me

My journey as a therapist began with my college application. I had always known I wanted to be a therapist in order to help others on a difficult journey through life. I attended Southern Nazarene University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in family systems and the aging process. A great part of our population are elderly and there are more stresses imposed on our seniors as well as their extended family system.. I have worked with people of all ages on their journey to become whole. I have experience with many different ages and am happy to join you on your journey to better. I have worked with both victims and perpetrators of domestic violence, and well realize that people can make changes to improve their life. The grieving process is also a difficult passage through which to journey, and I have worked with the grieving process a great deal. I often utilize an eclectic approach and blend different therapy styles to suit each person individuality. Lets chat and see how I can be of service.

Karen is a very good listener, and very supportive. I just started working with her, but she is extremely comforting and I appreciate she seems genuinely invested in helping me teach the point I want to be with my mental health

Although we’ve only had a couple of sessions, I feel comfortable and in a safe space to discuss my life and it has helped.
