I have been working as a mental health therapist for over 23 years. I started in crisis work and have extensive knowledge regarding working with persons in crisis. I have facilitated a variety of groups including DBT. My education focused on motivated individuals facilitate their change. I have provided individual, group, couples and family counseling. I was severely sad during our first session and by the end of our session I had regained a manageable level of my sadness. Karen checked my wellness by text almost bi-daily and we met again weekly with no waiting period. Karen efficiently gave me coping skills to better deal with my sadness and Covid isolation.
I highly recommend anyone having difficulty with effects of Covid, don't wait as long as I did, seek help even if it's just to confirm your mental health is well.
Karen is a lovely person. She’s a great listener and helped to suss out issues that really bothered me. I found that her recommendations on how to handle stress and negative thoughts were also quite useful.
