Karen Larkins, LPC
About me
I began working with clients in behavioral health therapy about 16 years ago, and since then I have learned a great deal about behavioral health and the triggers which might constitute a need for someone to seek therapy. I especially enjoy working with individuals with disabilities, and dealing with overcoming some of the stigmatizations associated with the barriers which might contribute to an individual’s overall health, identifying symptoms, such as depression, anxiety, and feelings of low esteem and self-worth . I work to assist with overcoming and managing these symptoms and barriers, and to establish improved levels of self efficacy, empowerment, and self sufficiency. I work with children and adults.
