About me
Life can be deeply challenging, and when we reach a breaking point, seeking help can be one of the most meaningful and healing decisions we make. As a cancer survivor and someone who has overcome adversity, I understand trauma, anxiety, and depression firsthand. I am passionate about providing clinical support that helps people thrive. Whether you are navigating trauma, mental health concerns, substance use, or life transitions as an older adult, I am here to support you. With more than 30 years of clinical experience and a holistic approach, I will work with you to create a plan that supports your mental and emotional healing.
During our first session, we will review office procedures, including fees, confidentiality, and communication. I will answer any questions you have about therapy or the information I share. I will also complete a thorough assessment, and together we will develop a treatment plan with goals, objectives, and clear steps to help you reach them.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers a person-centered, holistic approach and use interventions tailored to your needs. My approach combines cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, mindfulness, psychoeducation, psychodynamic, and humanistic therapies. I am warm, compassionate, and committed to helping you build the life you want.
I have successfully worked with people from many backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns. I am especially well-suited to support adults and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or chronic pain. I also help clients strengthen communication skills, build self-esteem, improve decision-making and problem-solving, and manage anger more effectively.
Choosing to seek a more fulfilling life takes courage, and taking the first step toward change can be powerful. If you are ready, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
