Karen Walter, LMHC
About me
I bring warmth, creativity, and a sense of humor to my work with clients, helping them move toward the meaningful changes they seek in their lives. I value being down-to-earth and authentic, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can feel truly seen and heard. I connect well with neurodivergent adults, and I treat anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, mood disorders, autism, family issues, life transitions, caregiver stress, and coping with chronic illness.
With nearly a decade of experience supporting clients, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique strengths and challenges each individual brings.
I am committed to meeting clients where they are and developing shared goals together through acceptance, kindness, and curiosity. My passion is providing support and skills-building to clients to help them manage personal challenges, find confidence and joy in who they are, and become more aware of their unique strengths and courage.
