Karishma Workmon, LMHC
About me
Hello, and welcome! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 8 years of professional experience. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, and those seasons when life simply feels like too much.
Maybe you’re used to being the strong one, taking care of everyone else, or pushing through even when you’re struggling yourself. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just tired of carrying so much on your own. You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy.
My style is warm, supportive, and conversational. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself and talking honestly about what’s going on without fear of judgment. At the same time, therapy is more than just talking. We’ll work together to understand what may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, and find healthier ways to move forward. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while tailoring our work to your individual needs and goals.
Reaching out for support can be difficult, especially when you’re used to handling things on your own. Wherever you are when you begin, we can start there. My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling heard, supported, and better equipped to handle what life brings.
