She's been so great in helping me manage the uncertainties of the present-day and healing from things in the past

What I love about Karla as a counselor is that she is good at gently critiquing my more negative traits. She doesn't talk down to me. She recognizes my potential to be a better person and reminds me in ways that I can remember. Even though she and I are not in the same phase of life, she is still very relatable.

She makes me feel like I'm talking to a friend while everything still feels very professional. It is the perfect combo for me.

Karla is wonderful! Only a month in and she's helped me immensely with my anxiety, overthinking, self-confidence, among other things. I know I'd still be stuck in a tough place if I hadn't talked with her. I really like her style/approach, she's easy and fun to talk to and incredibly insightful. Love her sense of humor and the way she relates personal things in her own life to the topic at hand, making it relatable which encourages and inspires me. The homework assignments she's given me have been very helpful too and aren't too involved or demanding.
