About me

I am a licensed therapist in Washington with 8 years of experience providing non-judgmental and compassionate support to those seeking help. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, OCD, relationship issues and parenting problems. I also have specialized training in working with people who have experienced trauma and abuse. I have been trained in EMDR.

My counseling style is warm, down-to-earth, and interactive. I believe everyone deserves respect and sensitivity, and I focus on choices and actions more than I focus on diagnoses or labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and behavioral techniques. I have experience teaching DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) principles and skills. I will tailor our conversations and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I believe it is normal to need outside support from time to time, and it is also brave to seek out that support. I'm glad you're here, and I hope you find what you are seeking. I would be happy to meet you in order to determine if I can help you get through the challenges you are currently facing. My hope is for you to find your way to the life you want.

I look forward to working with you!

I've had at least 6 or 7 different counselors in my mental health journey, and Kasey is by far the best one I've ever had. Her responses are helpful and concise, and help me to process things in a positive way.

Kasey has been a great help to me in understanding the emotions beneath my actions and thoughts-- thus enabling me to walk taller with a greater sense of freedom in my day to day life.

Kasey is a pointed, focused, empathetic professional who listens to understand your situation and work you through your own thought process. She will stay on task, and keep the conversation on task within the limits of her scope as a therapist to help you be the one who works through your own issues. It may feel like, at first, that she's dodging helping you, but in reality she's helping you develop the skills to deal with future issues as well as the current one. She's great.
