I hold an clinical license to practice therapy. I have been trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma, Motivational Interviewing and I utilize compassion focused strategies as well. I have a broad range of expertise including working with those who are depressed, have ongoing relationship difficulties, anxiety, trauma, find themselves in crisis, or have a complex situation. I've worked in many different settings including courts, schools, residential treatment facilities, and outpatient care. I've also worked with many different populations such as children and families, individual adults and young adults, military, and law enforcement to name some.
I often say " I view my role as a therapist to call attention to the obvious yet unnoticed" and within my practice I focus on how to make our lives a life worth living and develop ongoing skills to improve our relationships, family, work, and the self. I feel my therapeutic style is to "be real" and I work with clients to gain a deeper understanding of their personal situation to heal. I am a big advocate of respect and follow through, consistency and flexibility.

Kassie is great. I am new to therapy. And have only ever had 2 others in the past, and I remember feeling like seeing a therapist was not worth it because they don't listen to me and understand my point of view. Kassie made me feel comfortable and understood on our first session, and it was over the internet! I highly recommend her!

Kassie is genuinely amazing. I was instantly comfortable sharing with her. She is a no judgement type of person, but rather logical and rational. She has helped me a lot over the past many months. I never go into our sessions with a plan but somehow always end up feeling like we had a productive conversation. I always leave with lots to think about, a new perspective and methods to try. Highly reccomend her.
