About me

Do you feel lost, unfulfilled and struggle to cope with these difficult emotions?
Does it happen that you might feel unseen, not heard, and not really appreciated?
Do you feel you’re doing the best you can and you’re still not happy with yourself, your life, work, at home, within family?
Do you struggle with anxiety, feel overwhelmed, depressed, or lonely?
Do you think your coping methods seem to not work or you struggle with finding one which would work, to help you cope with these feelings?
You are not alone. I’m here.
I’m here to support you to feel more fulfilled in life. I’m here to help you understand what blocks your innate talents and skills, identify them, and reach for them. To use them consciously and fully, and to make changes in your life, which will render it more satisfactory. I believe each of us is different and unique, endowed with different talents that may sometimes be hidden or blocked for various reasons.
I’m using Integrative therapeutic approach, which is not only a continuation of my field of study but also an expression of the implicit faith in the uniqueness of each individual and the respect they are due.
My interest includes Depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), trauma, PTSD and CPTSD and self-esteem, and the particular challenges encountered by Domestic Violence. I also work with neurodivergent people , and have quite a few years of experience in this field.
My favourite part of being a counsellor is watching you, grow and blossom into the amazing beings you are supposed to be, letting go of the things that hold you back, reaching your full potential and creating your best possible life!
It is a huge honour and privilege to be part of that process!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kate Reeve. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Kate has been a great resource to me. She tries to understand me, she listens, remembers, offer theory, work sheets, availability and more. I do not feel judged with Kate, but safe. She helps me accept myself, take care of myself, but also she helps me better myself.

My development has been immense. My life is changing. The goals are super realistic and manageable, and we do take our time with this process. There's no rush. Still, so much has improved, and really it has happend so fast.

I have truly been motivated and curious as Kate makes this journey so interesting to me. I literally take notes and study the material she sometimes sends. She shows me the ropes and guides the way. Kate has this way of making me believe in myself. She makes me want to test what we talk about and work on it - also by myself.

She has given me the tools I need to analyze the steps I take and the choices ahead, and she has helped me become more aware and grounded. The trust I have in her has me actualize what I learn. To take theory into practice, and what I see is - it works!

So, overall, with some help from Kate, I feel a whole lot better. I cannot wait to see what's next. I genuinely look forward to the rest of my life, and I see now, that the right now, really isn't too bad. I'm okay.

Kate is absolutely brilliant. I wholeheartedly recommend this warm, caring, and clever woman. I am forever grateful to her

Kate is a kind, patient, and thoughtful therapist. She as good at talking about difficult topics in a disarming way, so that I don't feel threatened or more stressed than necessary. When she corrects me for dysfunctional thought processes or tells me things that I don't want to hear (but need to hear), she is firm yet compassionate. She is good at getting me to open up, despite the fact that I tend to clam up tightly about my problems. The couple of times that we have had misunderstandings or small issues, she has been quick to address the problems, get me to express what bothered me, and apologize/makes changes in her approach accordingly. For a person who struggles with confrontation and conflict, that has been great for me to experience because she has demonstrated how doable it is to directly deal with such things instead of skirting around them and bottling up my concerns. Our sessions haven't been easy for me, but they have absolutely been worth it so far, and I'm already feeling significant improvements in my daily life as a result!

If you feel there is no place left for you on this planet then Kate is 100% the right person to speak to. She listens and hears you and finds solutions. Real solutions. She's thoughtful kind and funny too. I don't feel under any pressure from Kate to be any thing but myself. Kate is a very professional but also a very real person.

Kate has really helped me explore my anxiety and compulsive disorder in a way that accepts it rather than trying to abolish them. She has helped me embrace the way my brain works instead of trying to change it in order to fit norms. When it comes to anxiety I always thought of it as a problem that I made up, whereas Kate has helped me realise that through talking about my mental health struggles I am accepting them as a part of my life and she has been great at giving me tools to use in everyday life as aswell as advice on how to cope when everything is overwhelming.

Kate has been an invaluable help to me. Our conversations have helped me learn to accept my explosive tendencies and find ways to try to mitigate the explosions when they arise. She has also given me the closure I needed to stop feeling angry at my parents and have a healthier relationship with them
