Katelyn Ciarelli
About me
Hi,
My name is Katie Ciarelli. I am an LCSW in the state of New Jersey. I graduated from Suffolk University in Boston with a degree in Psychology and Philosophy, and went to Rutgers University for my Masters in Social Work and graduated in 2014. Since then, I have worked primary with individuals living with chronic or terminal illness and their family members. Through my career, I have become experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Grief therapy, among additional methods to help individuals cope with life. I am of the mindset that there is no one approach for every person, and I align myself with the individual seeking help and believe in going through the therapeutic process together. I believe each person is capable of change, regardless of the circumstances, and that support and guidance is necessary in any situation. My approach is warm, empathetic, and I look forward to working with each person I cross paths with.
