I have been working in the mental health field for over 23 years, and I still enjoy what I do. I have had the pleasure of working with a wide range of individuals, families, youth, and groups of various ages and backgrounds, and in various settings. I believe strongly in self determination, and I am passionate about empowering people to regain their strength. find their inner voice, change their perspective, and help them to learn valuable skills to better manage through the tough times.
I think of therapy the way some people think of church- a place to share in confidence, and a place for uplifting, renewed hope, and connection. A validating, motivating, and healing experience. Some people attend weekly for years, some stop, and then start up again. Whatever your goal is, we can work on developing a plan with realistic objectives that provide you with a guide to measure your progress.
If you are interested in mindfulness based therapy including DBT, CBT, and meditation practice with a solution focused approach, I can help you. You can live a life of fulfillment, even in the presence of problems. Is this easy? Of course not. Is it possible? Most Definitely. If you want more than just a sounding board, and you want to take action and create change, I would love to help you get started!

She's probably the best therapist I've interacted with. She's approachable and respectful. I haven't had many therapists in my life, but she is one of the nicest people I've met, and I would 100% recommend her.
