About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I have experience as a counselor in the clinical and school setting. I have worked with a wide rage of emotional concerns, stress and parenting related issues. I am also able to provide support navigating the educational system as parents of students with disabilities may experience frustrations advocating for their child and navigating the process to gain support for their child.
My approach to counseling is client centered, however, I will frequently incorporate a behavioral or cognitive behavioral, solution focused approach. My clients may not come with motivation, but I work to help them find the motivation for the change they want or need.
