Hi! Welcome, my name is Kate. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I graduated from Georgia State University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling, and since then, I have been practicing in the field. I have worked in hospitals, inpatient units, schools, community settings, and private practice.
I believe therapy at its best can be a profound and life-changing experience. I think the fit between therapist and client is essential. I like to structure my therapy session collaboratively, and my approach stems from what the client is telling me. I want to listen to understand, to comprehend the world the client describes, and to truly see the individual with empathy, understanding, and warmth. When I am working with a client, I hope to foster an open, judgment-free environment, where we work to increase self-awareness and self-acceptance.
I have experience assisting clients in all stages of life, presenting numerous concerns. I have counseled adults, children, and adolescents. I have experience working with many issues, including but not limited to trauma, grief, stress, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and behavioral concerns. I also work with folks where things are going reasonably well, but they want to see if things could work even better.
I believe the healthcare field is moving to an individualized approach, and I conceptualize my counseling with a similar focus. I draw from several theoretical perspectives in my practice. I am particularly drawn to a holistic/eclectic approach, Solution- Focused, Person-centered, CBT, mindfulness-based CBT, emphasizing the mind-body connection, and I implore creativity whenever possible.
We only get to do this life once, let’s give it everything we can! Reach out if you have any questions, I am here and ready to work with you.

My counselor is helping me make breakythroughs that i itherwise would never have come across on my own. I would recommend Kathryn to anyone.
Kathryn and I have just begun our sessions, but I already feel very confident in her abilities. I believe that her guidance has helped me find a path of fulfillment and greater personal accountability. I appreciate her so much.
First time I've had counselling and Kathryn made me feel totally at ease. She's so understanding and really listens to you as an individual.
Kathryn has been my sounding board and cheerleader over the past few months.
It’s been a rollercoaster and without Kathryn I’m not sure how I would have coped.
Let's put it like this: in the first session, I was a broken person, with a lot of self-doubts. 3 months later, I am closer to the person I once was. And I can't thank Katheryn enough.
I’ve worked with Kathryn for over three months and she is fantastic. She is patient, understanding and has offered me lots of practical ways in which to challenge and change my mindset. The sessions have literally changed my life.
I have only been a client of Ms. Boulet for a couple of weeks, but she has already helped me a great deal. She is an excellent therapist who knows when to give advice, when to give encouragement, when to ask questions, and what questions to ask.
It's hard to put into words how much love and respect I have for Kathryn. She's the first councillor I feel that has really understood my hardships and offers me solid guidance and words of encouragement. I've never felt like I could open up to someone so easily in such a short amount of time. Words can't describe how thankful I am to have Kathryn as my councillor.
Outstanding results working with Kathryn.
