Kathy Villa, LPC
About me
Hello, and welcome. My name is Kathy Villa, and I am a licensed mental health professional with over 22 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges and discover their strengths. I believe that seeking support is a courageous step, and I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals.
Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals facing anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, burnout, and other emotional and behavioral health concerns. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that each person is unique, and I tailor treatment to meet your specific needs, strengths, and circumstances.
I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness techniques to help clients build practical coping skills and create meaningful, lasting change.
My goal is to help you gain insight, develop resilience, and feel empowered to move forward with confidence. Whether you are working through a difficult period, seeking personal growth, or looking for support in managing everyday stressors, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey.
I look forward to the opportunity to support you and help you achieve your goals.
