You did it! You took the first step to reach out and ask for help. I look forward to the opportunity to walk this journey together. Let me tell you about myself:
I’m a wife, mother to four, and a dog mom! I live in SC but love to travel to see new places and try new things. My favorite place is anywhere with a beach as I love anything involving sunshine and water!
Professionally, I am a Board-Certified Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of South Carolina and have been practicing in the mental health field since 2011. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in WA. I am currently working on my Doctorate of Psychology and was EMDR trained in 2021.
I am very person-centered in my work with clients as I believe that you know you better than I know you! My practice is solution-focused as I believe in focusing more heavily on the problems you’re experiencing right now and working together to develop effective strategies for improving not only your current symptoms, but also your overall life satisfaction. I often incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy at times to help identify problematic thinking and retrain your brain to be more positive! Some other theories I believe in are Positive Psychology and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I have significant expertise in dealing with adults (18+) who are experiencing the following: various mental illnesses (including but not limited to Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, other Psychotic Disorders, Depression, Anxiety); difficulty adapting to life situations; relationship issues; stress caused by pressure at work or home; grief and loss; self-esteem issues; other difficulties maintaining life balance. I also have experience with addictions issues and am able to help in those areas. I am skilled in aiding others in developing coping skills, interpersonal skills, independent living skills, stress management, personal empowerment and advocacy, healthy leisure habits, and other important life skills.
It is important to understand that therapy is about you and what you need, so the process is really driven by the client! My role is to facilitate discussion and prompt new ways of thinking in order to inspire fresh perspectives. :)

I gave betterhelp a chance before and was matched up with a counselor that I ended up being pretty disappointed with I just felt like we never got on the same page. I'm really happy that I decided to take another chance on this app because being matched up with Kayce has been really great she's been incredibly helpful and puts things in perspective in such a simple way that you almost think you should have thought of it yourself but she really listens and prioritizes and gives you the tools that you need to get better.

For the past month or I've been depressed nervous anxious and have quite a bit of anxiety. But I've been trying to do what my therapist ask me
to think about what's causing it.
For the past week I've been doing this on smartphone
Adult art coloring by numbers and glitter coloring by numbers and all the pictures I've done so far turned out pretty. I like doing things like that. My worker took me too
Store called 5 and Below I got me a few things in there with my Birthday money main thing was a book every page has an activity on it for me to do the it's call the positivity kit, an the front of the book it also says
Happiness on every page, and I've been writing in it.
Tammy
But last night I talked to a Doctor on demand
She increased my abilify from
5mg to 10mg
And called me in some Vistral.

Kaycee Bragg has been a great resource to have. She really helps you tackle the issues you're dealing with. In the past, I've seen counselors and they only want to focus on childhood issues or war, and she's not like that. She understands those things have shaped you but may not be what you need to talk about to help you get through whatever is going on. She has taught me valuable lessons in gratitude and daily reflection, that have dramatically improved my life in just a few short weeks.

Written on Apr 08, 2019 after therapy with Kayce for 7 months on issues concerning depression, sleeping disorders, and self esteem
Kayce helped me learn to love and appreciate myself and my life in a time where I didn't feel like I could. Her vibrant positivity was infectious, but she balanced it very effectively with a strong ability to listen and take my issues seriously, while providing very helpful solutions and methods to try. She helped me learn how to change my life in ways that I knew would be good for me but was hesitant to try, and to do so in such a way where I could feel like myself and proud of what I was doing and how far I'd come the whole time. Kayce is incredibly caring and very knowledgeable of her craft, and I'm very lucky to be paired with her.
