About me

I am Licensed and Accredited in the UK, with 4 and a half years of Professional work experience. I received my Counselling and Psychotherapy Degree from the University of Plymouth. I am a Fully Registered Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)and belong to their Spiritual and Private Practice Membership Plan.

I am an Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS).

I abide under the BACP Code of Ethics and Conduct. This Code is available on their website for Clients reference!

I have worked in the Personal Care Industry for over 40 years. This experience has provided me with a sound knowledge, understanding and ability to help Clients with their Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual Wellness.

Being able to work as part of a Team and in Group Environments within various Mental and Emotional Health Charities and Professional Organisations, has been of great importance. Having the opportunity to support Children and Young Adults experiencing mental and emotional health challenges and see their transformations has been extremely rewarding and encouraging.

I have had Professional experience working within an all Male Mental Health Support Centre, where I was given the role to support and Counsel Males that were going through Drug and Alcohol recovery, Sexual Addiction, Homelessness, Loneliness, Trauma of Separation and Divorce, Bullying, Abuse, Self Harm, Literacy Challenges, Intimacy Issues, Grief, Loss and Bereavement, the daily vicissitudes of life.

I have provided Psychotherapy for Patients that are going through the daily related changes associated with Cancer, Dementia, Deafness.

I actively support those that are going through Bereavement and Loss and embark on continual Professional Development to stay abreast of the latest research.

I worked as a Support Worker for True Butterflies, a Domestic Violence and Abuse Organisation. I gained a qualification, Level 3 in this field and have continued to add to the understanding and the intricacies of being able to Nurture and Care for those that are in this tough situation. I do regularly CPD (Continued Professional Development) in this field. I am passionate about helping those that need the strength and guidance to take those powerful small steps towards a new life

As a Holistic Person Centred Psychotherapist I speak daily with an array of people that need mentoring, guidance and counselling within their relationship dynamics, family crisis and different aspects of change.

As well as being a Qualified Psychotherapist I run my own Nurture Wellness Sanctuary this is a place for completely revitalising the Mind Body and Spirit. I am fully qualified in a vast amount of Nurturing Personal Care treatments - from Cutting hair to Oncology Light Touch Massage. Having this under my belt helps to be a better service provide on the BetterHelp Platform.

I have been working intimately with the LGBTQIA Community, for over 20 years. Being actively supporting and helping those going through the transitional feminisation/masculinisation phase and the intracites that that entails. From the Psychological aspect, right through to all the bodily treatments that enable the patient to fully transition aesthetically and holistically within a safe and protective, nurturing environment.

I am heterosexual and not from the LGBTQIA Community, I say this in case any one reading this would like to be paired with someone from the LGBTQIA Community itself. Providing a safe space to work through the mental and emotional health challenges that those from the LGBTQIA face is I believe a invaluable thing to do.

This isn’t my first therapy experience, and it's safe to say that Kaye's approach is incomparable, in a good way. Kaye is not just a therapist; she's a true listener and a friend who engages with your stories. She comfortably shares her own experiences when relevant, demonstrating a genuine understanding of every situation. Kaye serves as a personal cheerleader, with the most inspiring words when you really need to hear them. Although it may not be easy, she manages to remain unbiased, allowing your reality and healing process to unfold without interference. Despite the physical distance, she manages to be remarkably close, nicely integrating herself into your world, regardless of your location.

Opening up about my concerns has never been easy for me, but Kaye's patience and space have allowed me to develop confidence and trust at my own pace. She has been a crucial reminder of the significance of life's little things(which I tend to forget in the midst of the madness), guiding me towards finding happiness and passion in aspects I had previously overlooked. In just a few months, Kaye has made a significant impact, and I'm truly grateful for the positive changes she has brought into my life.

Kaye is lively and lovely, and in such a short period of time is already very in tune to my needs. I have made great progress in a short amount of time, and therapy is one of the best decisions I could have made for myself in this time of my life.
