About me

I am a trained clinical therapist who brings 14 years of experience working with children, adolescents, couples and families. I have experience working with with adjustment disruption, parenting difficulties, relational concerns, and individual issues. During my time as a therapist, I have collected many rich experiences along the way. I find the therapeutic relationship to be a powerful dyad where change and healing abound.

I approach therapy as a relational experience. My style is engaging, eclectic, conversational and goal-oriented. I value the whole person and believe that we all experience healing within a holistic context. My goal for therapy is to create an environment where those I have the privilege of working with experience a space where they can be their true selves and be met with compassion, understanding and gentle exposure to new and/or existing truths.

The journey of therapy is one that I honor and I look forward to becoming a sojourner with you.

Kayla has helped me grow so much! I have had to tackle some really hard things. She gives me support and encouragement to keep taking one step at a time and one day at a time. I am very thankful.

Mrs. Kayla is a true gift from God!
I marvel at how the Lord uses her to effectively communicate and process the situation in words that confirm as if she were in the situation herself.
It's so beautiful and a breath of fresh air. As my first time seeking therapy, I didn't believe she'd understand or be able to give advice for my specific situation, but it really wasn't about that. I enjoy being able to express my thoughts without judgement and receiving support in a way that my friends and family haven't been able to. For the first time I understood that just has God gifts the hands of a doctor, or an artist, he gifted the mind of a therapist and they are needed! I'm so thankful to God for orchestrating a perfect fit for me and my situation. I am thankful that while she was a blessing to me, I had moments that inspired her!
