Hi there, my name is Keelan. I am a licensed counsellor in the UK with 5 years of experience working within the counselling and psychotherapy field. I have gained a range of experience counselling both adults and children, and have supported clients with a range of mental health problems and personal challenges.
The foundations of my therapy are greatly shaped from Person Centred Theory (PCT) which aims to nurture a safe and effective space for clients. I am passionate around the ethos behind PCT which suggests that the client is the expert of their own story - you hold the necessary strengths & skills needed to adapt to change, and be able to manage life's obstacles and challenges.
My approach will not involve me taking lead or direction on your path ahead, nor will I offer advice. Instead, we may temporarily cross paths during this stage in your life, together process the steps you've already taken, look ahead to where you wish to go, and listen to where you are at this present day. The issues you present in this space will be listened to and respected unconditionally.
Further training has equipped me with additional insight and resources that can be used to complement the work we commit to. Some of these include: Cogntive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness techniques, and Transactional Analysis theory.
When the world around us get's a little overwhelming, make sure to:
Take the world in one breath . . . at a time.
Additional areas of focus: LGBT, Relationship issues, Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Eating disorders, Anger management, Career difficulties, ADHD, Attachment Issues, Body Image, Chronic Pain Illness and Disability, Communication Problems, Domestic Violence, Emptiness, Family Problems, Forgiveness, Guilt and Shame, Impulsivity, Isolation / Loneliness, Life Purpose, Men's Issues, Mood Disorders, Panic Disorder and Panic Attacks, Self-Love, Sexuality, Social Anxiety and Phobia, Workplace Issues, Young Adult Issues

Pretty awesome therapist. Best experience I think with Keelan has been their communication. Both in telling me the availability and just talking in general. Only thing I may say is response time - but this is less so Keelan's management and more so the nature of online therapy. Timezones also come into affect, and both the therapist and client have their own external lives to attend to. Especially considering a physical therapist will usually have a week's minimum to reschedule meetings, my online experience with Keelan has been wonderful. Keep doing what you're doing!
