I am a marriage and family therapist licensed in CA and TX with over 10 years of experience working in mental health. I have worked with clients facing a wide range of concerns, which includes, but is not limited to, depression, anxiety, trauma, family and relationship conflicts, career and parenting challenges, life transitions, and ADHD.
My therapy style is authentic, warm, and inviting. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and solution focused therapies. Although this is my approach, I believe what I do best is "meeting my client right where he or she is." As an active listener, I see my clients and their stories through the lens of humility, respect, and compassion. While I do have a set of skills, I do not see myself as "the expert"; instead, I see myself as walking alongside my clients and cultivating a safe space that facilitates the healing, breakthrough, and transformation that is needed.
My goal with each client is to co-create a treatment plan that works in seeking the changes that are needed and that speaks to your unique and specific needs.
I am honored to take part of this leg in your journey of healing and transformation. It takes courage and strength to say yes, and I can't imagine what it took to bring you here--to this moment. If you are willing and ready, I am here to partner with you in your next steps toward change.
I look forward to working with you!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kelisha LaGrone. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I am glad that I got Kelisha as my therapist. She listened to me very well, helped me overcome my fears and most of all made sure to keep my culture (and its ideologies)
in her mind while giving advice.
My experience with BetterHelp was a bit frustrating for the first year or so. My first therapist, who I stuck with for way too long, was not very engaging and mostly, unhelpful. When I finally switched to a new therapist, I was very hopeful. However, she was very dismissive and cold. She made me feel pretty stupid actually. Finally, I came across Kelisha's profile during a time of hopelessness in finding some good help. I just had a feeling about her. And as always, my intuition was spot on. Kelisha has been an incredible therapist to work with from day 1. She is kind, warm, compassionate, engaging, and communicates very clearly so that you know what to expect. She doesn't make me feel stupid and often reminds me I don't need to apologize for my feelings. She makes me feel like a priority. And she truly puts in the work. I feel very supported by Kelisha and I have so much gratitude for her. I feel lucky that we've connected.
She was able to give me good advice and support after just one session. She’s that intuitive.
Keisha makes me feel heard and helps me dissect why I might be responding to external triggers the way I am
I feel confident sharing anything and trusting I will be heard and understood. There's a lot of power and freedom in expressing my pain and fears with someone who can articulate what I said back to me in a new way that helps me understand myself better.
I look forward to talking with Kelisha every week! I recommend her to everyone!
She is so kind. She has helped me tremendously and I can’t wait to continue working with her.
