About Me
Hi! My name is Kelly and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia with 7 years of experience working in mental health. I received my undergraduate degree in Childhood & Family Development from the University of Georgia and my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in California. In graduate school, I worked with college students, Alzheimer’s patients & their families, and also offered spiritual counseling. After graduating and moving back to Georgia, I gained experience working in a variety of treatment settings, including mental health hospitals, residential and outpatient eating disorder treatment centers, outpatient substance abuse treatment centers, and private practice offices with clients spanning many ages and presenting problems.
I provide a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment, allowing clients to feel safe and capable of creating and living a fulfilling life. Seeking therapy and being vulnerable can be extremely difficult and I believe in treating my clients with the utmost respect and compassion along the way. I work with individuals, couples, and families with presenting problems such as: life transitions/ phase-of-life problems, eating disorders, body image, self-esteem, anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship or marital problems, family dynamics and clients identifying as highly sensitive. I draw from a variety of treatment modalities and operate from a client-centered approach tailored to each individual’s unique needs and personality in order to best help them achieve their goals. I will give you the push you need to learn you are worthy of feeling empowered and confident to take on life’s challenges and I’ll even throw in some humor along the way!
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, exploring, hiking, traveling, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with my family, friends and fur-children.

I have had her as a therapist for only a few weeks but she has helped me more than I thought I was possible. I am definitely glad I chose her as a therapist.
Kelly is a fantastic therapist. Very knowledgeable and caring. I always leave my sessions with her feeling much better than when I started.
Kelly is absolutely OUTSTANDING! She listens, she’s compassionate, understanding and makes you feel confident in tackling whatever you are struggling with. She praises your wins and guides you through your lowest moments. I can’t say enough nice things about her! Choosing her is choosing to gain control of your life!
Kelly is absolutely wonderful to talk with. She is patient, responsive and very insightful. She always makes me feel very comfortable in voicing whatever is on my mind and consistently causes me think deeply about the subject matter. I have recognized constructive steps I have been able to take from what I have discussed and talked through with Kelly. I am really grateful to have gotten to know her! She is a fantastic resource as well as an amazing person that I always look forward to talking with.
She’s very supportive and compassionate!
A very good listener and she feels like a friend I can trust! While she still tells me hard truths I may not want to hear, she does it with respect and understanding
I've been working with Kelly for about 6 months now and she's helped me tremendously, to say the least! She's really helped me to combat my anxious, self-critical tendencies and thoughts and to re-frame them in a way that's much more constructive. As difficult as it has been for me to implement self-love and giving myself grace into my life, Kelly's support and intuition have put me in a much better place psychologically then I was 6 months ago.
I have had a few chats with Kelly and a few messages back and forth as well. She is very easy to talk to and feels like im talking to a close friend that has advice after every time I "vent" I am excited to see how she can help me work through the different situations im dealing with, and love how she is able to relate and help me. Thanks Kelly!
Kelly is intuitive, caring and giving. I can't say enough good things about her. She is here to do the roll-up-the-sleeves hard work for her clients.
Kelly is the best! She listens, ask questions that make you consider a different point of view, and she is respectful. I feel so open telling her absolutely anything, and know she will never judge. I’ve grown and learned so much from her, and I am thankful I have her as a therapist. I would recommend her to anyone!
