Kelly Heinlen, LMHC
About me
As a licensed therapist in Washington, I bring over two decades of compassionate clinical experience supporting individuals through complex emotional landscapes. My practice centers on helping clients navigate challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions with empathy and expertise.
I specialize in addressing issues such as social anxiety, workplace stress, chronic pain, family dynamics, and women's mental health concerns. My approach is deeply person-centered, focusing on building self-love, exploring life purpose, and helping individuals break through patterns of isolation and shame.
With a trauma-informed and holistic perspective, I create a supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop resilience, and cultivate meaningful personal growth. My goal is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and understanding as you work toward healing and emotional well-being. (Washington state law dictates that I may only see you if you are located in the state of Washington during the time of our session.)

Kelly seems to have a lot of experience in the areas that I really need the most assistance in, it’s really difficult to open up to others about hard past experiences but she is very soft spoken and easy to speak with. I am looking forward to really working more on myself and having a good connection with her so I’m able to overcome a lot of my own barriers.
Something I appreciated about our first conversation was that she was really direct. For a person like me who likes to go the avoidance route I really found I needed that & respond better to a therapist who is able to speak to me in this manner over difficult situations I don’t want to face or conversation I am not confrontational about, Excited to make progress through my own barriers.
