I am a professional counselor and I have been practicing for over 20 years. I have worked with many areas including anxiety, stress, self esteem depression and life transitions. I graduated with my B.S. from Oakland University and my Masters in Counseling also came from Oakland University.
I believe that life will always have it's struggles and that we can all benefit from counseling. Life can throw things at us that we are not prepared for and I can be that person to help you through life's challenges. I am a great listener, compassionate and empathetic. I will meet you where you are and help you progress towards your goals. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic, Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Behavioral Therapies.
It takes courage to be able to admit that we are in a place that we can benefit from help from someone else. You have taken that first step towards change and I would enjoy working with you.

Kelly is really great. I've had a weekly session with her throughout the year and she provides a lot of space to talk, she's quick to respond to messages as well, and the advice she provides is very practical. Initially I started for some heavier things I was dealing with, but throughout the year I realized how helpful she has also been with weekly things. Would highly recommend

I've only been working with Kelly for 2 weeks and it has already been incredibly helpful. She is exactly the type of therapist that I was looking for and I'm grateful we were matched on the first try. She is an incredibly good listener and is excellent at validating my feelings and helping me feel heard. She offers advice, but doesn't overstep and she clearly really cares about my success. Kelly has been patient and understanding . I feel like I can be honest with her without being judged. She helps me through my issues and is compassionate along the process. She also gives great feedback and helpful tools after each session.
