About me

Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Michigan. I have extensive experience working with individuals in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have worked with individuals who experience severe mental illness, co-occurring disorders, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I have also worked with individuals with autism, developmental disorders, and learning disabilities.

My therapy style is strength based and interactive. I believed everyone should have the opportunity to express themselves effectively. Dignity and respect are two key aspects of how I practice. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, motivational, mindfulness, and trauma-focused therapy.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Kelsey is very easy to talk to. I have only had a couple of sessions with her and I am completely comfortable opening up to her. I love how she is understanding of my issues but also will tell me what I need to hear and not just what I want to hear.
