About me

Greetings, I’m Kendra — a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and California.

I hold active licenses in Georgia, national board certification in counseling, and certification in Reiki Level I. My background blends mental health, creative arts, and holistic wellness.
With experience in dance, film, stage, and fashion, I bring an understanding of the unique challenges creative professionals face in maintaining mental and emotional balance.

I help clients navigate anxiety, stress, depression, identity exploration, life transitions, and relationship dynamics. In the past, I’ve worked extensively with children, youth, and young adults in the foster care system, supporting their resilience and emotional growth.

My approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to focus in Parts Work, Somatic Experiencing, and Trauma informed therapy approaches.

I believe every experience—joyful or difficult—offers a chance to grow, heal, and realign with the life you want to create.

I primarily work with women and feminine-identifying individuals but welcome clients of all gender identities, orientations, and relationship styles. My focus is on building self-esteem, increasing coping skills, fostering creativity, and helping clients gain clarity and confidence.

Together, we’ll work toward balance, fulfillment, and self-understanding. Counseling is a space for you to explore, heal, and evolve—one step at a time.

Availability:
You may message me anytime; I typically respond within 24–48 hours (except Sundays for rest and self-care). Live phone or chat sessions are also available—35–45 minutes each, once weekly. If you don’t see a time that fits, message me for scheduling flexibility.

I want to thank Mrs. Kendra for helping me to live happier and better. for more than a year she has heard me laugh and cry (especially cry) and always knew what to say or simply to listen.
She gave me many tools and techniques that I use daily for my life, I am a completely different person from who I was and that's because of her teaching and help.
She is understanding, smart, and kind, she never judges you and makes you feel like you're talking with someone that knows you for many years.
I'm really grateful for her and all the work she has put on me and look forward to our sessions all the time, she helps me to feel recharged and ready to face whatever comes my way.
Thank you, Mrs. Kendra.

Kendra is a wonderful counselor. I was apprehensive at first because she only offered phone counseling but I quickly realized that her counseling was just as effective even though it was by phone. She listens very well & very patiently. She gives you space to feel whatever it is your feeling and offers words of validation, understanding & empathy. She has a very calming energy and I look forward to our sessions.

I really appreciated her professionalism regarding my relationship style. It means a lot. How she asks questions during my sessions helped me process things I didn’t know about myself.

Kendra Witherspoon is very supportive and has made me think about things in different ways than I would have expected. I feel much more in tune to my body and my reactions to certain stressors. I feel more in control thanks to her guidance.
